 篇2:searching because it is here.

Are you looking for a great opportunity? Well, you can stop searching because it is here.

The greatest opportunity that anyone could possibly hope for can be yours. duanwenw You don’t he to make a cash investment. You don’t even he to fill out an lication form. 篇3:Each time something in our life ends

Each time something in our life ends, it creates room for a new experience.

Within each new experience is a stepping-stone. Some are *** all stones and others are big ones. Some are fun and some are tiring, but with each passing day we learn why we are here, what our duty is, and why different people e in and out of our lives.

Each time a relationship ends or we lee a relationship, we must examine ourselves, our hearts and our souls. duanwenw What brought us to this person to begin with? How did we attract them into our lives? How did they bring us into their reality and why? Each step is part of the journey of finding out who we really are, why we were brought here, and why we go through pain sometimes.

We must first work on the inside and the outside will follow. Think about it. What is truly your life’s duty? Do everything you can to do it. It’s a journey. duanwenw Take the adventure.

You he gone through many rough periods in your life, and many wonderful times too. You he helped people through their rough periods. You know what to do.

You keep on getting right to the finish line and then you stop. Keep going this time. Cross that line. duanwenw You are deserving and capable. Sometimes if we just work on removing anger, everything else will flow.

You are loved, dear one. This is the beginning of a beautiful future. Someone loves you and will be there for you. Always remember that we are never alone!

The first time I ran, like really ran, was during middle school gym class. It took me 11 minutes and 47 seconds to finish a mile. I've been running ever since.

Running is the kind of thing where you put in the time and expect to see results, and let me be the first to tell you: It is supremely discouraging when you don't. It's discouraging when you run a five-mile race with your entire family and e in a solid 15 minutes behind everyone else, and it's discouraging when that time is no faster or slower than your five-mile time five years ago.

And yet, my alarm is already set for 6 a.m. tomorrow, even though it's probably going to be rainy and definitely going to be cold and even though most of the time, I really hate running.

Don't ask me why. All I know is this: As much as I hate running, I love being a runner.

There's some kind of camaraderie beeen people who spend more money each year on running shoes than on all their other shoes bined, and there's some fundamental similarity beeen people who can cross 10 miles without pausing.

On days that I run, I exert myself purely for exertion's sake. If you run too, you get why.

When you're a runner, your people are the girls with hair elastics on their wrists and the boys with shorts shorter than yours. They might be better, faster or stronger than you, but you belong with them.

It took me almost 10 years of plodding along at an 11-minute mile before I realized that I could call myself a runner, no matter how slow I go or how many races I lose.

I've laced up my shoes at least once a week since the first day I stepped foot on a track in middle school. Some weeks it's every day, some weeks it's not. Some days, I'll barely go more than a mile, and some days, I'll walk more than I jog. I may not he medals, but I he fresh air, time alone, and creaky knees and tight quads.

For me, that's enough. I run, so I am a runner.

The gas station nearest my house hens to face a strip club. It is arently a very successful strip club, as they could afford to install a LCD screen on their roof that might be visible from the Space Station. It's certainly visible from the gas station. At some point my eyes will drift up while pumping gas, and there will be a one-story image of a young woman in some stage of near-undress.

As I was getting some gas this morning, I wondered for the first time what a woman pumping gas thought when she looked at that screen. Though it would depend on the woman, I thought. A woman who had once been an exotic dancer herself would certainly look at that image differently than a Catholic nun.

The image would look different to each of us. And when I say look different, I mean we would be seeing what amounts to a different image. For while the young woman's pose and attire that I see are identical to the pose and attire that every other man, woman, and child sees, the story that image tells me is told uniquely by me, by my own ideas about women and advertising and maybe even gas stations.

The image is nothing; the story is everything. Good to remember if you're a writer. Writers don't report the facts. The fact that there is a strip club with a giant LCD screen blazing near-nudity for all to see means nothing in reality. All that ever matters is what a person believes when they look upon it. What a person believes is the terrain of the storyteller.

And by the way, it is the only terrain of the storyteller. Storytellers, whether they are conscious of it or not, wish to alter reality. We are not so interested in changing the image that flashes on the great LCD screen of the world. Mostly that's beyond our control. We could march, or protest, or fill out petitions to get the screen changed, but it's faster, ultimately, to tell ourselves a story about what we see there.

I sometimes fet I he to power to change that story. My mind drifts as idly from thought to thought as my eyes drift from gas pump to pinup. What occurs in this exchange beeen the world I look upon and the story I tell can hen so fast, can be so habitual, that I can lose track of who is telling the story I am hearing. The moment I remember, the moment I see my mind as a blank page on which to write my life, I am the author once more, and my life is mine again.

A woman baked chapatti for members of her family and an extra one for a hungry passerby. She kept the extra chapatti on the window sill. Every day, a hunchback came and took away the chapatti. Instead of expressing gratitude, he muttered the following words as he went his way: “The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, es back to you!”

The woman felt irritated. “Not a word of gratitude,” she said to herself… “Everyday this hunchback utters this jingle! What does he mean?” One day, she decided to do away with him. She added poison to the chapatti she prepared for him!

As she was about to keep it on the window sill, her hands trembled. “What is this I am doing?” she said. Immediately, she threw the chapatti into the fire, prepared another one. As usual, the hunchback came, picked up the chapatti and muttered the words: “The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, es back to you!”

Every day, as the woman placed the chapatti on the window sill, she offered a prayer for her son who had gone to a distant place to seek his fortune.

That evening, there was a knock on the door. As she opened it, she was surprised to find her son standing in the doorway. He was hungry and weak. As he saw his mother, he said, “Mom, it’s a miracle I’m here. While I was but a mile away, I was so famished that I collapsed. I would he died, but just then an old hunchback passed by. He was kind enough to give me a whole chapatti. He said, “Your need is greater than mine!”

She remembered the poisoned chapatti that she had made that morning. Had she not burnt it in the fire, it would he been eaten by her own son!

It was then that she realized the significance of the words: “The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, es back to you!” Do good and don’t ever stop doing good, even if it is not reciated at that time.

A Butterfly’s Lesson

One day, a small opening eared on a cocoon;

a man sat and watched for the butterfly for several hours

as it struggled to force its body through that little hole.

Then, it seems to stop making any progress.

It eared as if it had gotten as far as it could

and it could not go any further.

So the man decided to help the butterfly: he took a pair of scissors

and opened the cocoon.

The butterfly then emerged easily.

But it had a withered body, it was tiny and shrivelled wings.

The man continued to watch because he expected that, at any moment,

the wings would open, enlarge and expand,

to be able to support the butterfly’s body, and become firm.

Neither hened!

In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a withered body and shrivelled wings.

It never was able to fly.

What the man, in his kindness and his goodwill did not understand was that

the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening,

were God’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings, s

o that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes, struggles are exactly what we need in our life.

If God allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles,

it would cripple us.

We would not be as strong as we could he been.

Never been able to fly.

I asked for Strength...

And God ge me difficulties to make me strong.

I asked for Wisdom...

And God ge me Problems to solve.

I asked for prosperity...

And God ge me a Brain and Brawn to work.

I asked for Courage…..

And God ge me obstacles to overcome.

I asked for Love...

And God ge me Troubled people to help.

I asked for Fors...

And God ge me Opportunities.

“I received nothing I wanted...

But I received everything I needed."

Live life without fear, confront all obstacles and evince that you can overcome them.

Some times, struggles are exactly what we need in our life。

Just Quit

Quit making excuses! Making excuses or blaming others for any situation in your life is nothing more than playing the victim.

Take responsibility! Make your life decisions, and if you don’t, then it’s your fault. You are a spiritual being in a physical body, and your spirit should run your life. Take it back! Make today the day you quit playing the victim by making excuses and blaming others for what hens to you.

Quit procrastinating! Cancer is not the most deadly killer; procrastination is. It kills dreams. It kills your future. Never use the phrase “I’ll try”. There is no such thing as trying. Pay attention when others use this phrase: ninety-nine percent of the time they do nothing. The words are just an easy way to fort oneself.

Quit thinking self-defeating thoughts! Quit thinking that you can’t do what you want to do. It’s not what you are that’s holding you back; it’s what you think you are. You were given all the equipment you need to acplish anything you desire. Use that power today.

As for bad habits: just quit! Take the challenge. Pick one, and quit it this week. Next week pick another, and so on. Improve your life by being a “quitter” now.

What is your most ideal day? Do you know exactly how you want to live your life for the next five days, five weeks, five months or five years? When was the last best day of your life? When is the next?

The best day of our lives is today. The past is no longer here. We cannot enjoy it any longer. To dwell on the past is to waste the opportunity to enjoy the present. The future is a promise, a time that will not e because what we he is only today. When tomorrow es, it will not be tomorrow any more; it bees your today. You cannot enjoy tomorrow unless you know how to enjoy your today. If you are to live thirty more years, you are going to experience 10,950 todays. But every day that passes without your notice is a day cut off from your life. Your life is a day shorter every new day.

Each day is a decision to live. Today is a gift; this is why it is called the "present". How you use this day is up to you. At each new day, you decide whether to unwrap that gift, or let it stay in the corner and spoil. Each day is a decision to live your ideal life.

How you feel, how you react and how much stress you he in your life is in direct relation to how you think.

Some people let random circumstances predict their day and actually end up creating stress for themselves. For example, when they go to make coffee and find there is none left, they may start the day by thinking, "Oh, this isn’t going to be a good day." Then, for the rest of the day, they duanwenw allow minor inconveniences, unexplained challenges or other less ideal events to rerce their negative thought. And they end up hing a stressful day.

Look forward to your day and don’t let negative thoughts control it. Change how you interpret or react to life’s events. If you run out of coffee, change your thoughts to, "If this is the worst thing that could hen to me today, then the rest of my day will be great."

If you continually he negative thoughts, then you are allowing only negative events to be your panion for the rest of the day. And, when something good does occur, you won’t even recognize it.

The hiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Hiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.

When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,

"Richness, can you take me with you?"

Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"

"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."

"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"

Hiness passed by Love, too, but she was so hy that she did not even hear when Love called her.

Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,

Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"

"It was Time," Knowledge answered.

"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"

Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

There is not a (no) thrifty man but becomes a rich man sooner or later. Why? Because he will not spend such money as is unnecessary. Little by little his money will accumulate. Ten to one, he is bound to make a fortune.

I do not like such men as spend their money in a wrong way. They do not know extragance is a bad thing. It can only make them hy for the time being. In short, thrift makes poor men rich and extragance makes rich men poor.

Needless to say, nothing but perseverance can lead a man to the way of success. In other words, a persevering man never does his work without succeeding in it. This is indeed unchangeable truth.

Our National Father, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, is the most ideal example. He was devoted to the revolution about forty years. He met with many failures, but he was anything but discouraged. As a result, he won. The Republic of China was born.

WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY 有志者事竟成

The secret of success (The key to success) is not so much money as a strong will. A great man is one who has a strong will and an indomitable spirit. In other words, if a man does not he a strong will to win (get) the final victory, he will never succeed in his life. He is no more than a failure.

It is quite obvious that there is no difficult thing (nothing difficult) in the world. if you make up your mind to do it, you will certainly accomplish your end. That stands to reason.

成功的要诀不是金钱而是一个坚强的意志(用not so mush... as)。 他只不过是(用no more than)一个失败者。

A man bought a Donkey at the market one day and took him home on roval.

Now the man owned several Donkeys already and he knew each one's character very well.

One of the Donkey was very strong and bre. Another was eager to please but quickly exhausted.

有头驴又强壮、又勇敢;还有头驴急于讨人喜欢,可一会儿就累了;

One Donkey was very lazy. He hated going to work in the morning and he did as little as he possibly could all day long.

When the other animals were being loaded up he always tried to be the last so that he would get the lightest load.

The man led the new Donkey into the stable yard. For a moment he stood

sniffing at his new companions. Then, without hesitation, he trotted up

to the lazy Donkey and began feeding comfortably at his side.

Though it was late in the day, the man immediately led the new Donkey out of the yard, straight back to the market.

"You cannot he given him a fair trial yet, "said the merchant. "It is only ten minutes since you bought him."

"I don't need to try him any more," replied the man. "I know just what he is like from the friend he chose for himself.

Take him away and give me my money back. I can do without Donkeys like him."
